Administrative & litigation assistant
Law Office of Salesia V. Smith-Gordon, PA
Born in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. At the age of three (3), Farah and her family migrated here from Haiti. She was raised here in West Palm Beach, FL. Growing up in a Christian home has made her realized the advantages that she has of becoming closer to Christ even when the world tried to tell her otherwise. She has devoted herself into doing God’s work. Farah is part of the Children’s Ministry, working with children who are between the ages of four to seven. Ms. Jean Baptiste has been a Sunday school teacher for over 10 years. She completed the Counselor Enrichment Training Course for the International Women’s Ministry Department program and am certified as a young women’s youth counselor. This is a ministry for young women in our district; we help shape and mold their minds spiritually. One of her major goals in life is to make a difference in the lives of children as well as adults. Farah’s passion for children has made her more aware that they too need to be protected and being part of this law firm has equipped her with the proper resources to advocate for them. Farah’s motto in life is: “La main des diligents dominera, mais la main lache sera tributaire.”(French), “Travay di fe ou granneg, men parese fe ou rete ak moun.”(Créole), “Work hard and become a leader; be lazy and never succeed.” (English).
